The mission of the Fairfax County Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is to promote and enhance the relationship between the community and the Fairfax County Police Department. The association will accomplish this through continued law enforcement education of our members, supporting and promoting the Fairfax County Citizens Police Academy, supporting and promoting special projects that strengthen the services provided by the Fairfax County Police Department, and assisting the Fairfax County Police Department in specific projects when requested.

Fairfax County Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (FCCPAAA)  2007 Goals

*  Increase diversification in the CPA and association membership. Encourage members to recruit minorities and promote the efforts of the recruiting committee.
*  Provide food donations to district stations as a way to show our support for officers. Donate food once every month or two, rotating through the eight district stations plus helo and animal shelter. Rotate shifts.
*  Host several blood drives at various district stations.
*  Complete the FCCPAAA web site.
*  Provide a revolving fund for polo shirts in order to fulfill orders in a more timely manner.
*  Send one association member to National Citizens Police Academy Conference in 2007.

2007 Fundraising Activities

*  Collect cell phones for environmental recycling
*  Continue to sell CPA and Association shirts 
*  Design and sell FCPD Logowear
*  Teach CPR courses
